Description/Information: All-star cast of amazing improv players brought together by Ypsi trumpeter James Cornish who heralds a breakthrough into unexplored territory for BWT. Cornish blasts and croons through six tracks of avant garde jazz forms. Joining him on reeds is Piotr Michalowski whose fluttering notes and signature honks complement the other instruments well. Also on woodwinds as well as bass flute is Marco Novachcoff, breathing heavy life into some seriously low tones. Sawing away on cello and the Mongolian morin khuur is Abby Alwin, bringing the haunting mystery out of her instruments' strings. The final element pulsing through these tracks is the percussion of Curtis Glatter who pounds away on skins, wood and metal of different sorts in his unique floor seat set-up.
